Founded by Dr. Sterling Hancock, D.C., Reborn Sports Chiropractic is built on the principles of quality care, patient education, and sustainable results.
Shaped by his background as a professional soccer player and his own journey from sports injuries, Dr. Sterling brings a unique perspective to chiropractic care. Dissatisfied with traditional medical approaches, he discovered the transformative power of alternative approaches and a passion for understanding the human body.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning his Doctorate in Chiropractic (D.C.). Dr. Sterling completed post-graduate training in FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment Rehab), Fascial Manipulation Institute by Stecco, and MPI (Motion Palpation Institute). In addition, he holds a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.
His athletic career includes professional soccer and appearances with the United States National Futsal Team, showcasing his firsthand experience with sports-related injuries and sports performance goals.
Dr. Sterling is native to the Bay Area and proudly serves his community. When he’s not in the office, you can find him coaching youth soccer, capturing moments through photography, or exploring his love for weight training, reading, and cooking.

The Birth of Reborn
One patient, for example, came to Dr. Sterling after being passed from doctor to doctor with no answers or understanding of her pain. With a thorough and empathetic approach, Dr. Sterling partnered with her to provide real relief and enable her to thrive again. As a token of appreciation, she commissioned a piece of art—a spine with a swallow perched on top, symbolizing renewal. That moment of transformation became the inspiration for Reborn Sports Chiropractic.
